Health_Reform_and_You

The Affordable Care Act (ACA), or health reform, increases access to health care for people who don't have insurance. If you can't pay for health insurance on your own, you may now be able to lower your health care costs by enrolling in a new Healthy Michigan Plan.

You may qualify for help if you're:

  • Age 19 - 64

  • At or below 133% of the federal poverty level - $16,000 for a single person or $33,000 for a family of four

  • Not currently able to sign up for Medicaid

  • Not currently enrolled or able to sign up for Medicare

  • Not pregnant when you apply

  • A Michigan resident
